Scott from New York: "I spoke directly to people telling them that I personally know of Republicans who are changing their minds about voting for McCain because of the tone of his campaign. I suggested he run on the issues, and behave in a more civilized and controlled manner, or he will continue to lose the confidence of his supporters. They told me I should pay more attention to his message... yikes!"
Ernest & Betty in New Mexico: "I spoke to a live human being at the RNC HQ. As I made my comment I was cut off, but at least I did get a few words in on behalf of myself and my wife. We are both 72 years of age and are horrified at how the Republicans actually do not mind destroying the country if they cannot win the election. We continue to volunteer on behalf of Obama and pray that he wins."
Hilary from New York: "I called the second number, got a real person, and gave him a short version of your suggested points. I asked if he would be sure to give the message to John McCain. He was polite, replying 'yes, ma'am'."
Amy from San Francisco: "I tried to call the RNC headquarters to leave a comment with their media department. They hung up on me."
Robert from Virginia: "I called the McCain/Palin 2008 National Headquarters. I complained about McCarthyism and Palin's pro-America, not-America remarks."
