No shocker here, but is there actually a coherent Bush agenda? You know, besides enriching his friends and making more families mourn over lost children in a war based on lies?

Oh, I answered my own question I guess….

PS Rove just gave Mccain $2,300. So there's that too…

Here it is, in all it's disrespectful glory…..

Even funnier that it happened as he pandered and pulled away from his previous position on immigration (it's now all about border control, not "free trade," the resulting conditions in Mexico and most importantly unscrupulous, largely REPUBLICAN business owners who employ undocumented workers).

Oh, and thanks for stopping your misuse of Mr. Mellencamp's songs (kinda reminds you of his idol Ronnie and Bruce Springsteen's Born In The USA).

Seriously, I thought John might have been actually entering the Elysian Fields he looked so bad during this thing. I hope they had a gurney at the ready just in case. Hell, I half expected them to come out for him and to hear him utter "I'm not quite dead yet, sir."

A good metaphor for Republicanism and conservative ideas in general.

John McCain, he of the recent electoral "surge" right into fourth place in Iowa, stood next to his goofy alter-ego and fellow star of Cocoon Joe Lieberman in Derry, New Hampshire and declared his intention for us to be in the Greater Mesopotamia area for the next century.

Here would be your transcript. Make sure to catch the video too:

Q: President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years — " (cut off by McCain)

McCain: "Make it a hundred."

Q: "Is that …" (cut off)

McCain: "We've been in South Korea … we've been in Japan for 60 years. We've been in South Korea 50 years or so. That would be fine with me. As long as Americans …"

Q: [tries to say something]

McCain: "As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. That's fine with me, I hope that would be fine with you, if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where Al Queada is training and equipping and recruiting and motivating people every single day.

You know, I try and give a guy credit for doing the right thing in criticizing Crying John Boehner. And then he has to go and get all Pinochet on us again. What gives?

This time, the good Senator from Arizona, in referring to Moveon's oh so mean advertisement about General Petraeus, publicly opined that members of Moveon "ought to be thrown out of this country."

Ok, Krushchev.

Then he had this to say during a 9/11 event:

"The important thing about Sept. 11 is that it not be repeated," McCain told reporters after the event. "And if we leave Iraq, then it will be repeated."

Yup, there he goes again. Hey Einstein, perhaps you should look at NIE or listen to virtually every non-Neocon compromised foreign policy expert who say that this ill-conceived and tragic war in Iraq has stopped us from defeating the actual terrorists who want to come here and kill us.

Finally, there is the honorable John McCain, the man who made sure everone knew he condemned negative campaigns and in particular the Swift Boat liars. Yeah, he's now going around campaigning with one of their most public members.

John McCain: Still Crazy After All These Years

…I almost feel bad making fun of him at this point.

Almost.
